Our History

Winridge Manor is located just mintues north of Lynchburg, Virginia in Amherst County. Built in 1910 by Wallace Taylor, creator and manufacturer of the Piedmont automobile, this completely renovated Greek Revival home boasts three porches with views of the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. The large beautiful garden in front of the house features a large koi pond complete with a lit fountain, a waterfall, and something always in bloom.

The newly added ceremonial garden on the side of the house flaunts an arbor, panoramic views of the mountains and pastoral pastures rendering itself perfect for that special outdoor ceremony.

We would be honored to provide a custom designed package for your special day. We at Winridge Manor, along with our professional and courteous staff, pride ourselves on making your wedding day as enjoyable and as stress free as possible.
